(If you have a problem or don't use your browser for mail reply to anitam@priorresource.com and quote Job Reference J161 in the subject line when sending in your resume). 3)Warehouse Operator As a Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for supporting the activities of the Warehouse department including performing SAP inquiries and transactions, inventory and documentation control including maintenance of first-in-first out inventory storage, loss and damage prevention, safe operation of a power material handling equipment in all areas of the warehouse, and adherence to work practices and lifting techniques. You will also take on a material handling role that will require extensive physical effort for the material handling of cartons, bins, pallets and decanting. This role will also include the unloading of rack positions on motorized equipment that elevates the operator to approximately 20 feet above floor level and you will be interacting with carrier/courier staff. You will also be responsible for the receipt of incoming material shipments including primary incoming shipment inspection, documentation and material control, and will be required to successfully complete equipment certification. ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS General knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP Strong organizational skills Effective interpersonal and communication skills Ability to perform physical aspects of function following recommended practices with an emphasis on injury prevention ADDITIONAL ASSETS Previous experience in a shipping, receiving or material handling role preferred Forklift operation certification, WHMIS, and/or Transportation of Dangerous Goods certifications, would be beneficial Enrollment, completion or willingness to enroll in CAPICS programs is highly desirable If you would like to apply for this job, click here and attach your resume as a Microsoft Word document and click send.
